The Minneapolis Community and Technical College has an annual show for the Photography and Digital Imaging students to present their portfolios. These portfolios are a culmination of skills they have learned and developed through out their time at the institution. You will be viewing the individuality of these artists as well as their creativity.

Throughout all phases and coursework within the two-year program, the MCTC Photography and Digital Imaging faculty expect commitment and passion from their students and nurture their creativity. The curriculum encourages individualized expression through hands-on assignments and personalized instruction. Upon graduation, students leave the program with a professional portfolio and working knowledge of the professional photographic industry.

We, the photographers in Portfolio want to showcase the art we’ve created during our time at MCTC. The intent of our display is to show case who we are through our photos. Showing the world that we are artists who see differently through the lens of our cameras.

As artists we have taken it upon ourselves to create photographs for you,  from a place within ourselves expressing our experiences, behaviors, and feelings. We hope to leave you with something you can share with future generations. Please take time to look, ask questions and enjoy the work.
